House in Vardehaugene in Norway from Fantastic Norway Architects . This black and white wooden house hidden in the rocks on the Norwegian coast at a height of 35 meters above sea level. Occupying almost the uppermost point on a small hill, the house has panoramic views in almost all directions. House takes into account the local climate, seasonality and the wind direction – its volume tightly pressed to the ground, partly hidden behind a small rock and wrapped like a fox, forming a closed and protected patio. The project was implemented during the year to get the most accurate representation of the different climatic conditions on the ground. Result of hard work has Ph.D. dissertation Anne Brit Børve «Design and function of individual buildings and building clusters in heavy, cold climates.

Lefevre house was designed by architects Longhi and is located in Punta Mystery, Peru, overlooking the Pacific. The rocky cliffs merge with the ocean and create a spectacular landscape, where few take the challenge of building a house. This magnificent residence seems infiltrated into the soil with asymmetric volumes and surfaces like a submarine. The architecture is modern and diverse, offering unexpected angles of view. Two swimming pools are surprising touches of color and entertainment for the overall project design. Building interiors take full advantage of the environment. Floor to ceiling windows allow views of the ocean, while ensuring lots of natural light during the day. The use of natural rock in the house brings a sense of authenticity and pays homage to the surrounding landscape.
